Northrop F-5E Tiger

Patrouille Suisse Team,

Swiss Air Force Dubendorf AB, 1996

Revell 1/144

This kit sat around unfinished for a little more than two years. Back then, I added a Retro Wings cockpit, along with some other scratch details to it more representative of a Patrouille Suisse aircraft, and got as far as painting it.

There wasn't a lot of work left to do to complete this one, so after adding the decals, some touching up of the paintwork, then painting and adding the final details here it is finished.

Airfix Sherman Crab. Combination of original 60's Sherman and a somewhat later (80's possibly?) flail set. Finished as one of the 79th Armoured Division's 'Funnies' on D-Day. Brush painted and weathered by dry brushing with Citadel paints. Flail looks a bit artificial but time precluded replacing them with chains.

Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4

ZK353/BQ, 29(F) Squadron, RAF

1/144 Revell

A part of the RAF Typhoon Display Team based at Coningsby, this was the aircraft flown by Flight Lieutenant Jonny Dowen in 2015. I used Revell's 1/144 kit and added the Xtradecal RAF Update 2013 - 2015 set. It was brush painted with a variety of both enamel and acrylic paints.
