corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! I must correct my title, Relaxing was a pure understatement !! This is what's happening when you close a panel dedicated and designed to stay open !! Now, back on the wings.. I filed the Wheel bay at the max but still there was a giant step So back at the calipper and I think that the wing is too thin... So I tried this Here's the result .. Not perfect at all, but a bit better than this... Okay I did the same on the other side, wings look ok now, a bit more conform at least ! Now enter the putty !! You both know what that mean ??? Sanding sanding sanding !!!! Have a great modelling time !! And a good Ste cecilia to all the musicians !! Sincerely. CC
Brandy
Nice correction on the wings. The side panel on the cockpit that you have open was an emergency exit only, not a normal entry like on a Spit. Just in case you were unaware of that!  Ian 1

corsaircorp
Hello Dears, I found a switchbox for my PR Hurricane ! Then I'm confronted to another dilemma, I read that the Recce hurricane were disarmed for saving weight, but I also read that they saved at least 4 guns for self defence... So what to do here ??? I was gone for letting the full armament but now, I'm wondering ??? What do you think Guys ?? Sincerely. CC

Wouldn't they have just 'patched' over the unused gun ports, hold on, they 'patch' over gun ports in use also. Oh i don't know, I was using logic...  Stuart

So that will say, not fully armed in order to save weight and not defenseless neither !! Seem to be good deal. Now as soon as I'll have done that, @Troy Smith will pop up with some good pics and proove me wrong Let's see !! corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! Sanding and polishing can be called done… For this while at least... Camera swithbox installed, emergency hatch glued and adjusted ! As a special scheme, I think that I'll help myself and paint the tail right now ! Looking like there will be a Hurricane in RFI early in 2019... Thanks for watching ! See you soon ! Sincerely. CC
TheBaron
Looking enviably smooth around those roots now CC. I must admit that sanding such areas on compound curves always has me a bit skittish in that you need to pay such close attention to keeping the curvature and not end up with a 90 degree corner....

And the belly of the beast I think that the painting booth is not too far ! But Look, sometimes I Wonder about my own… Can I say … Stupidity ?? With the help of the gentle peoples of BM, We are now about sure that UP-V will be the code for the next Hurricane ! So, I start searching for the right Sky lettering... But to no avail 🤬 Then I look at the kit instructions….  and 605th Sqdn IS in the kit, Tiny serial letter, I got it, just a V left to find ! Now, I Don't understand... Look this beast is stalling for month... I really love the plane, the kit was good, but I'm procrastinating !! Have a great modelling time ! Sincerely. I feel honoured, The stack of decals is just the result of 30 years of LMS and conventions And still I did'nt find what I'm looking for !! Modellers are definitely weird people…. I really enjoy your Annie with aerials… But still I did'nt found the article in my files…. I just hope that I read it in one of my books…. I did'nt intent to worry you with the story of my father, My biggest fear is to loose my sight and seemingly, I'll just go that way... I must stop to worry about that ! Sincerely. corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! I was searching about some reasons for my kit to stall at the painting level... I know that my skill in painting must improve a bit and then my Tools need to be replaced... But today !! I discovered💡 that I hate masking !! So, I will try to fix that !! That's why I have some build kit that wait not only for being painted... But for have some masking done before painting... And the Hurricane canopy is particularly…. How can I say ??? Howl howl howl quoting Lord Melchett !! Sincerely. CC
