Carius
More progress with palm tree...first without weathering, later with weathering. For the desert base texture I'll use a thin beach sand: Bye! Edited August 21, 2016 by Carius

Sgt.Squarehead
You've done a beautiful job with your paintwork but to be brutally honest the etch parts still look very flat without any real structure to the fronds.....Please don't take this the wrong way, I couldn't hope do it better myself, just being honest about the parts, your workmanship and artistry are beyond doubt. Carius
My friend, you are right about the fronds. I humbly confess that I did not give importance to this detail. I appreciate your observation, because it helps improve my modest work This detail is easy to solve...luckily for me I thank your incentive and compliment too. Cheers
Sgt.Squarehead
Your own work is awesome.....The PE parts just aren't up to the same high standard IMHO. I hate making comments like this considering the fine work you did painting them......But my criticism is genuinely meant to be constructive. Carius
Hi folks, I am back... So, I show some more progress with my vignette. First the base with smooth modelling mass and stones... Next: applying thin sand... Next step: the sand over the smooth modelling mass base... After painting... Now some pictures with SAS jeep... Thats all for now... Edited October 8, 2016 by Carius
