Live_bait
Yes, another 1/32 Revell Bf109 G6. I love painting Luftwaffe camos. And after the Hartmann’s bird I built sometime ago I wanted to do another one. I have a FW190 Dora as well but yet I need to do further research and decide the markings. The cockpit of the Revell kit is already of a very good detail so I only added Finemolds harnesses which IMHO are the best harnesses I’ve seen around. They are perfectly molded and details are excellent. Markings, I have two options: 1.- White 12 flown by Staffelkapitan Hans Langer in central Italy. Crew chief did not check with Langer and they painted on the Hstab YOU NOT! Like challenging Allied opponents. In the next mission he was shot down by P-38s parachuting to safety. After that incident Langer ordered his crew chief not to paint any further slogans. 2.-White 7, Bf106G-6 R3 flown by Ltn Elias Khlein. Both Standard RLM74/75/76 with white rudder.

Live_bait
A little update, tonight I could assemble the wings. There is a gap at around 50% of each wing span, I tryied to close it by puling up the wing tips and applying Tamiya liquid cement. I believe that with Mr Surfacer will be enough to fill the resulting gap, though it seems that is a natural panel butt joint in the real aircraft probably will have to rescribe. More filler in the belly and sanding next. Getting close to primer and preshading time. Cheers

Live_bait
Finally could spend time on this, I still like to preshade though not everybody likes this technique, I pre and post shade. Also I like to shoot with my airbrush so is a relaxing technique.

Alan Kelley
Watching with interest. My son bought the g-10 on Friday and he wants me to get it built for a show we are attending in June. Will be a challenge but have to say it looks like an amazing kit for the price.
Live_bait
Oh yes I want to build the G-10 as well, already got the new barracuda decals, just waiting for the kit to arrive at my local store. Getting there with fuselage, yet some touch ups and wings started,
