    Despite the early warnings and being very, very careful, this happened 💥 Several emergency orders for plastic and brass rod placed. The little black bit next to the wheels is a rear-view mirror, possibly from a Tamiya VW, which I found while trying to sort out the SoD for KUTA I may be able to fettle it onto something to hold the wheels on, just to get the build over the line for this GB /P

    Still can't understand why I did the white after the black. It would have been simpler and cost less tape the other way

    Voting is still open, but probably hopeless for this GB now. At least it looks like I can still build the Subaru fire truck in the Japanese GB

    They may have this misconcieved idea that Aldi is a "safe" place, free from temptations for our kind. I don't have a local Aldi, so mine came by post. I do however have a local Lidl and they should be stocking some of these as well. Now, what do we need to get from Lidl ......

    I'm in. The Do17 is pencilled in for this year's GB if it makes the cut. I've also a Bf110 and an He177 so plenty of options

    I moved over. The Schools class may not be big enough, but that gives me an excuse to buy the Deltic, BoB or Evening Star (not that I need an excuse) /p

    This is British, but is it "Big" enough Since it looks like the rail GB isn't going to make the cut, I may be looking for a new home for some builds.

    I was considering one of those as well. I also have a Scalescenes box file layout and a Dapol/Kitmaster Pug I was thinking about. They don't fit anywhere else so I may do a layout WIP for them.I do have a D/K Schools class, which will probably work for Big & British.

    I've just re-cast my vote from the Dark Arts 😈 to here. Maybe others will follow. Vacform is definitely not in my comfort zone /P

    since it's possible others have votes in both GBs, I think we'd all need to re-cast our votes individually. I've just done that for mine. As I said earlier, most, if not all of the ones I was supporting look like they will not make the cut. I can squeeze almost all of the planned builds elsewhere so I've shifted support to the ones which I can crash instead. /p

    It's a shame. I had planned a couple of things for here but with some minor changes, I can probably squeeze rail-related builds into other, more popular GBs /P

    IIRC, I have a Hurricane, a couple of Spits and a BF109 in progress. I also have a part-complete Z-Gauge Japanese railway mini-layout. No shortage of candidates. Also, if I don't keep moving, my Twotter is going to end up here too /P

    Scares the out of me but I signed up and voted anyway. We've only 26 votes, where are the rest? so far, it loos like only one of the GBs I joined is going to make it, but I can shoehorn some of the builds I was planning into other GBs Wonder if we could join up with the Not My Comfort Zone GB to push that one past the post and perform our 🤘there instead; Just thinking out loud. Maybe they wouldn't welcome the heathens anyway.

    Thanks Cliff From the amount of it I've seen being blasted around on here, there must be very little left for patching up white goods
