  7. All My life Bob Military brat father enlisted in 37 and ended up in the 92BG first real group to make it overseas intact. The group before if memory serves me right lost 50% of it's planes;when they launched it was all quiet and they made it.My Father finished 20yrs active and 22yrs civil out at KAFB.Thks for Looking in everyone much appreciated.I have one good arm right now had some shoulder work yesterday but my L/hand still works Kevin Which The Recon PRXIX will hang in this cabinet with the Hurri Going up top.I know wrong color scheme first TechMod decals for the plane I select got soft to quick my fault not TM's excellent decals by the way.
  8. Yes you are might of generated more curiosity that way or the use of the Term Recce might of helped also. These guys were not the always the stripped down version like some of their counterparts for more speed.Alot of the Recce crates were some very colorful birds in their own right.
  9. Thks Sir had to go find the old build thread lost a computer to Hurricane Nate over the summer. It was the full Aires Kit 7089 for "Lil Margaret"
  10. I started doing some recon 51's a couple years back these are all the Tamy kits in 1/48 sorry do recall the resin manufacture.I plan to do about 3-5 more of these recon crates.
  11. Very Nice! The WWI crates had Alot of colorful schemes one can do.Again beautiful
  12. Nice Work Sir! and I wish I could paint by hand that well Kevin
  13. The Griffon Spits are my favorite of the Spitfire lineup. The build came out looking really good and your panel lines reinforce the fact I need to do that to my G-55. Kevin
  14. Nice Crate/Finnish ! I find myself doing more and more of the Italian and French aircraft and markings. Kevin
  15. Are you guys able to see the pic in post #15?
  16. Thks I changed the color on the fuse side from RLM76 to 78 and then added a touch more blue it's my plane and I wanted it to match the box art which looks wicked I just did not paint the spinner blue went with the motte prescribed and what I saw in some pics.
  17. I think I have it test arrgh the pics are to small So I will get pixir resizer back before I upload to the flickr or does BM have a settings on the size?I lost my other computer during Hurricane/Storm Nate a couple months ago working on a new format not everything is in yet.

  19. So how do you guys upload.I had to re-activate the account been years since I used it is there a direct upload from my computer to here?
  20. Nice looking crate I have done that kit myself the part I did not like was those pipes to the upper wing.I did mine in the purple/green it came out nice but not as nice as yours I have kind of gotten away from weathering of late.
  21. I always admired the lines of the Italian aircraft but when I got the G-55 I had to start work immediately even though I have PCM's 202 and 205 in the stash. The build is clean ATTM with a semi-gloss finish thinking of going back to the panel lines?I have dropped two 1/32 scale kits in the last year this being one of them the wing on one side broke off after painting. The cannons were drilled and hollowed with brass tubes and the pitot is brass.I may do the wash after some work to the hand and shoulder are done in Dec. hope she measures up.;) Kevin
