  1. Nice little birds, the first time i have heard about this device
  2. A really nice Il-2, a kit not often seen, especially the big one in 1/32. Great work on the engine and a subtle weathering, not every of these planes lasted long. Beautiful work, Congratulations !
  3. Hi Stix, can t wait to see pics of your progress, for my modelling i didn t use plans very much but photos can tell much more. Will try out a new Aiurfix AFV kit. Keep up the good work and merry Christmas/Happy modelling Cheers Bernd
  4. Great looking Henschel, the paint work looks great, love the prop hubs, very neat ! Did the kit in an european scheme, yes its excellent.
  5. :-) Oh well, but i guess Mrs. Gremlin has seen a lot of kits walking through the door with you. Did you see the Iowa class Battleships in 1/200 or the Yorktown in this scale ? Wrote this year my usual letter to Santa, but it seems he quit the job due to a burn out syndrome Keep up the good work, my friend :-)
  6. Dual builds are fun ! Can t wait to see your builds, there will be a new Whitley this year from Airfix, so its maybe a good time to get the Frog one done
  7. Hi Julian, at first thank you for adding me as friend, 100% kits are quite rare and your Gustav will be a great one. Your Arado is breathtaking, looks very nice. It seems you need the Tirpitz in 1/32 ;-) Best wishes and merry Christmas (which hopefully including some modelling) Bernd
  8. Looks perfect, Julian, love the paint work on the leading edges of the wings ! The JG 51 markings are a good choice, very colorful.
  9. Great Beaufighter (as expected :-) ) The paint work is very nice, love the weathering. Well done ! What comes next ?
  10. Thanks for adding me as friend, Luis Alfonso :-) i really appreciate this !
  11. It seems that the upperside of the 8,8 barrel was in dark gray and the underside in a lighter gray tone, as the hull sides above the waterline.
  12. Beautiful DC-8, well done, looking great. These older airliners without wide body fuselages are really graceful looking planes.
  13. They look really nice, very nice detailwork on this small kits, well done :-)
  14. Hi Stix, its good to see, you are still enjoying building small scale AFVs. Its also good to see, that the newer Airfix kits are really nice, a huge improvement over the older kits. The one piece moulded track is looking great on the sprue, i hope it gets also nice on. Revell length and single link tracks are very realistic, while thin, but not so easy to get on, in some cases quite a pain. Well done so far, you are building kits very clean and precise. Congrats to that ! :-) Its more relative, to use the proper color, weathering will do look the tank right, happy modelling! Bernd
  15. Can t wait to see it, build this kit too, some years before, it s fun to build. Should be a stunner with your paint work on :-)
  16. Good work, thats quite a masking job ! Your weathering as the whole paint work looks great.
  17. Well done Julian, after having a second look on the photo you have posted, it seems you captured the subtle mottling on the real thing. The technicans of JG 51 re worked the standard three tone scheme on the whole fuselage sides..The cowling, around the emblem, looks a bit darker than the rest of the fuselage, but this could be me. Great paint job !
  18. Thank you for this compliment ! AFVs in 1/72 are good for the precious space. Here is a pic from my complete collection of small scale tanks, the sub is in 1/72 too
