  1. Tum-tee-tum. Still plodding along with tidying up parts before it's worth another priming session. Part of trying to get plastic to look like metal. It's a great kit, but this part of the process is a little boring tbh. I cracked the joins on the tank, but some extra CA hidden inside should help to make it more robust.
  2. A great show, well organised and plenty of stuff to spend your hard-earned on if you wanted. Well done to everyone who put the hard work in.
  3. It's slow, but it's progress. Lots of work gone into these, and a bit more to come. One fell onto the floor whilst spraying, and so it collected a bit of dust - not a problem.
  4. A bit of primer just to see what we have got - still plenty of filling to come I think.
  5. This shows the extent of the tidying up required on some of the assemblies - all part of the fun. Two parts of the engine block that aren't quite aligned.
  6. Taken a sensible approach this time, and have read the instructions first, together with checking colour call-outs. Hopefully get to sticking bits together soon.
  7. This one is back on the bench, just trying to get my head around how it fits together, (again).
  8. Hi John, It's also worth considering that some of the Collections' aircraft will practise in the run-up to the display weekend. Duxford Museum is 40 minutes drive away as well. I've camped there over a display weekend and you definitely get your money's worth, though the weather has always been good fortunately. All the best,
  9. Get well soon
  10. Get well soon? Still interested in how these turn out - the weathering & effects will make them pop no doubt.
  11. Red colour cuts? What other colour would they be? It looks fab to me.
  12. I'm surprised you haven't saved that kit for a blitzbuild.
  13. Zoicks!!! We have been away all over the Christmas period - missed it completely. All is forgiven though, as there is the matter of the Fairey Hendon in a certain GB next year. I believe you can buy NIVO finish in gallon cans these days.
  14. Another DNF from me - 2025 hasn't been great for getting stuff finished, but the good news is that the KUTA GB seems to have started! Thanks to the mods, and there were some great builds as always.
  15. What a cracking project. Good luck with it.
