Richard E Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Wayne - thanks for doing this. Just noticed the dates are wrong I think?Should be October 1st - 30th March matey :shithappens: Foresight and planning: the fifth law of all group builds is that two weeks before the end there will be a mad panic when most people start their builds and start asking for an extension.

Taa I made it thin at the request of Gary and made it fill the space between my ww1gb banner and the edge. But your the boss, i will try and shrink it a little.

It'd make it so you could have about 3 across before it started screwing with people's layouts.
desmojen Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I can't make it work Honestly, I'm such a bloody biff! Jen.
Mike Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I can't make it work Honestly, I'm such a bloody biff! Jen. Beg pardon??? Round our way, a biffer is an ugly woman... that's not allowed!
palacefan Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 (edited) I can't make it work Honestly, I'm such a bloody biff! Jen. It doesnt matter at the mo, it may take a little time to fix, ratio all different. in the mean time this one is smaller, i took it to 300 long but had to go to 65 tall. the text is hard to read but i will fix when i can. smaller 300x65 banner Edited October 1, 2007 by palacefan
Antoine Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Cool banner, but....A little bit too British!!! I'll see what I can do.
Antoine Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 I have to thank mr Tom Cooper of ACIG fame, author of numerous excellent jet color profiles, who gave me his benediction to use his work. Peru vs Ecuador, Alto Cenepa war of 1995
Antoine Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 And by the way, if you have some special ideas of banners, just let me know, and I'll have a try if I can.
Mike Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Has anyone seen Doc's banner? It's very good ya know... my favorite so far
miduppergunner Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Mmmmmm.... That is very nice - well balanced - artistically refined - colours are sympathetic and at the same time tasefully prominent. Yes clearly the product of someone who has more than a little talent for this kind of thing, and probably themselves are of a nice disposition. No doubt builds superb models as well. So who do we have to commend for this creditabl work. HEY - wait a minute - photobucket says dr_fester...OH NO not him - not swampy - complete crap - erase it immediately - never seen such tosh- ye gods and little fishes......

Antoine Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 you old curmudgeon! Learning new words every day!
Mike Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Learning new words every day! It's a great one, isn't it? Always manages a raised eyebrow from someone when used in public btw - it's not a rude word, just one that's not used in common parlance. I see it as my duty to ensure its survival... like the WWF (not wrestling, silly!) only for words
