This would be really useful, due the diverse range of builds going on. I have lots of pics of a T17 cockpit and some other stuff from the two a/c at Hendon and MAM (mainly undercarriage and tailplanes).

Plus I'm sure Bex has enough info to keep us all going for years.

Thanks for that, it's a good AQM-37 reference. Here's another useful AQM-37 site that I used when scratchbuilding mine. The Stiletto is a Shorts modified version of the AQM-37A.

Ladies and gents,

For reasons that will become obvious in the next little while, I'm looking for pictures and/or drawings of the nose area of the T.17 variant. In particular, I'd like to see the underside of the nose immediately aft of the 'radome' and further aft to the nosewheel bay. I know that there are two 'strakes' (for want of a better term, perhaps their cable ducts.....) of differing length which run either side of the nosewheel bay but my slim selection of reference material and photos don't show their origin in the ventral nose fairing. In fact, given my lack of detailed information, I'd be grateful for anything which clarifies the peculiarities of this version, such as the intakes (?) on the underside of the wings and the exhausts on the lower fuselage.....

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help out.

Looking at Speedys nose photo and mine, you quite easily see how on the real thing instruments & doo dahs are fitted.

Have you seen the new Pavla resin wheel bays yet? Waddaya fink matey, any good?

If anyone is building an airfix B2, please note the HEIGHT adjustment lever on the ejector seat is on the wrong side, its molded on the Port side when in reality its on the Starboard side.

Or better still replace with aftermarket, although there is not a suitable MK2C about at the moment .

The kit ones bear very little resemblance to the real thing.
