Test Graham Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Not a particularly inspiring list, especially for a 1/72 enthusiast. No Halifax re-release, for example (mixed feelings if they had!). I find the last a little odd - a single boxing offering Mks I, IV and IX? OK, IV is a misprint for V, surely, but extending it to the two-stage Merlins?
Shar2 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Blooming good to see the 1/72 Type IX and Skipjack submarines.
Andy K Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I wonder if the Tornado is a new tooling or a re-pop of the Italeri or Monogram kits?
c.smith10 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I was just wondering if the tornado is a new tool
modelldoc Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well, this not the complete list for 2013! on New Years Eve I give all a link for the complete list (including further information about the tool and realising date) modelldoc 1

Wez Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well, of that list, it's good to see the Voodoo back, it's a good kit. The 1/72nd Ju-88C-6 was a cert once they'd released their Ju-88A-4, I expect they'll drip-feed us other variants over the next few years but other than those two I'm left feeling a little flat especially after the excitement of Airfix's new releases for 2013. Wez
Wez Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Well, this not the complete list for 2013! on New Years Eve I give all a link for the complete list (including further information about the tool and realising date) modelldoc Where, where, where? Do share again as I (and others), plainly missed it. Wez
modelldoc Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 The reason for the complete list comes from the company. Revell give the order, all official information about models in 2013 are secret in 2012. On first of January the information is free and all britmodellers get a link for the complete and authorised list for Revell 2013 modelldoc

On first of January the information is free and all britmodellers get a link for the complete and authorised list for Revell 2013 modelldoc must learn to read properly! Read NYE and translated that into Christmas Eve. OK, waiting now with baited breath. Hopefully, I'll get my brand new 1/72nd scale moulding of the F-84F I've been hoping they'd bring out for ages (did the Luftwaffe operate the RF-84F)? Wez
modelldoc Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 hannants, a business problem - but for all, the list is not complete! Some new tools and some repops are missing. modelldoc
Wez Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 well then how come hannants have listed all the kits that they are releasing then already if revel don't want to give any info till 2013 If you look at that list there's very little that's new there, most of it is re-releases or variations on the theme, I wonder if Revell have been telling the distributors about this for some time? That list has been in the Big-H's 'Future Releases' for about a month now. Wez
pperkins Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 hannants, a business problem - but for all, the list is not complete! Some new tools and some repops are missing. modelldoc think it also has some work will revel think they need to control how they release the information on the kits they are doing for the year, cant see there being much more as some stuff from last this years(2012) has been cancelled or changed many times. think they might be having to licence issues
bootneck Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 well this is the list I have got for now and all I have to do is add the list of what is due from jan to mar which we all know what is in the list as it has been listed before, you don't need to put your comments in a negative way think you need to think before commenting on posts as I think this is very rude How can any of that be considered negative or rude?? I see the comment "this is not the complete list for 2013" as being positive, because it means there is a possibility of more to come! I also cannot see why the message would be thought of as being rude.

pperkins Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 i think perkins is miffed because he think the other guys stealing his thunder with his list any way merry xmas bootneck to you and yer family not at all I just hate people who are rude with what they say and how they word there replays. there are other ways it could have been worded better eg: revel always keep some new releases under wraps will 2013 when the full listed is released from revel
Wez Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 PPerkins, thank you for posting the current list, it has obviously started a lively debate. Modeldoc, please post a link to Revell's as hitherto unannounced releases on NYE. Thanks Wez
Rob P Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Is the MD520 a re-issue? Can't remember seeing it before. Looking forwards to the new C-130 and C-17 in 1:72 though... Please?
