  1. If there was a separate area for bigger builds...what would the actual point of a bigger area be?
  2. It's always good to be passionate about something but why bring F1 into it? You enjoyed. Good for you. Personally I'd rather have watched an F1 race.
  3. I know it's a real shade - just don't like the look of it as I find it looks like the plastic on a blue sprue of a model. Or one of those old disability cars. Not a colour I'd choose if purchasing a real Mustang.
  4. Nicely done - although that shade of blue is what we call 'sprue blue' when we see a car like that as it looks like the blue you get on a blue sprue before it's painted!
  5. Quite like the look of it with the clear bonnet
  6. Does me as well. Thought that was what it was at first!
  7. Less wages, better fuel economy as they will all be preceisley controlled, reduced traffic, no over taking lorries blocking lanes up, less chance of a crash,
  8. With cars starting to go driver less as well I suppose this is not a surprise...but is another way jobs are going to disapear which is always a worry.
  9. Finger prints usually come off with a microfibre cloth. If not some LCD screen cleaner should be fine on it.
  10. Depends where in Yorkshire I suppose...from Barnsley it's only 2hr 20 min away.
  11. As mentioned above a company like Ferrari makes a significant income from licencing. And companies like Ferrari/Lamborghini/Bugatti etc won't be selling many cars to people that buy the models.
  12. Or it could just be that they are re-evaluating their deals now Ferrari is no longer part of Fiat.
  13. Would they want a really old car though? The Indian market is a lot more refined these days.
  14. Definitely the cooler white - better for seeing colours properly,.
  15. I'm sure Revell do or have done in the past.
  16. Here you go: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Opel-Zafira-OPC-Diecast-Model/dp/B006NY7IDE
  17. Never seen one of them and very unlikely there will be one.
  18. I think this is the main reason they are unlikely to get into it in a big way. Also all the 1/32 scale models (the more recent cars like the Fiesta and Mini) are all existing models that Scalextric do so the moulds are all ready to go.
  19. They do - just not much of it. They have to look at what they think will sell and produce that. A company like Tamiya is more worldwide than Airfix which means they have the Japanese sales and US sales that Airfix doesn't tend to have.
  20. I think the problem is that model cars isn't a BIG market for model companies. It's a niche inside the niche world of models. If you exclude the re-boxes then Tamiya don't release much new at all anymore. Whilst I'd love to see more from Airfix car related I'd welcome it from any of the manufacturers.
  21. To be honest I find it a lot more interesting sometimes to get cars from further down the grid. It can get much too samey otherwise.
  22. Would have the last one over the first two anytime
