Republic P 47 N Thunderbolt, 19FS/318 FG, Ie Shima 1945 (Sword, 1/72)

Hi,

This is a Sword kit (1/72) with a Microscale decals in colors of 19th FS/318 FG, Ie Shima 1945:

I made a rotating (as always) propeller and cut out the landing lamp, I think no more improvements to Sword kit.

Just for the record, though, it is Ie (India Echo) Shima, not "Le Shima".

I love to see P-47’s, especially with so many combinations of nose art and colour patterns to choose from.

Gentlemen, many thanks for support! I usually do the brush painting, but here it was a Tamiya rattle can for natural metal surfaces.

Patrick, many thanks. I thought that it will be (together with Revell Brazilian P47D28) fast one week-end builds, but somehow they were not... You are right that it was suppose to be an intermezzo between scratch or conversion work... :)
