I joined Britmodeller two weeks ago and what a great group you have turned out to be. I love the support, help and encouragement from it’s members. A great number of inspiring builds being posted and some wonderful responses to the few posts I’ve made, thank you.
I think I will enjoy my time here.

And you really have to explain what that picture is all about.

That's easy.  He's stolen a helicopter and is driving it through the staff car park in the hope that no-one notices.  Probably posting from prison now :D

:welcome: to the forums

all the best

@Mike isn’t quite right. I think the Royal Navy might miss one of their £52mil Merlin’s. I couldn’t afford the running costs anyway, and where the hell would I sell it? Not sure Cash Converters would take it.
I’m spreading the rotor blades after the helicopter has be brought out of the hangar to the flight line. I need to make sure I get the green and locked indications and free movement with the cyclic & collective sticks.

My dungeon under the stairs or as I like to call it, “my happy place”

Ahoy there Matelot!  Slide the slide; all hands to bathing stations!

As Mark says - "Welcome" and glad to have you aboard (even if you're not Army!)

Thank you @Alpha Juliet Adrian. They let Pongos on here?! Starting to re think this now 🤪

Met quite a few Army guys while serving and it’s always (well…. nearly always) been a pleasure.
Had some on the RFA Argus where I got this picture with their little helicopter.

Hello 👋 and welcome!

Can't give you a military type comment as I'm ex-fire and rescue!

Keith 😁

Thank you Keith and thank you for your service. Have a few Fire Fighters buddies and I know that isn’t an easy job at times.

And I thought I had a small build area.:coolio:. Nice thing is everything is in reach, you don't have to do much moving around to get something.

@LorenSharp over 40 years I’ve been making models on a tea tray (ok, so there was a big gap from a kid and getting back into it, but you know what I mean). It’s so nice to have a space set up. I just need my wife to stop coming up with projects for me, I mean for the house 🤔 so I can spend time at the beach.

FAILED!   I can see a space on the table, at the back on the left of the spray booth.

A very warm welcome to you, from a pet bootie!  :analintruder:

Sorry fella, had to be done. Had an uncle who was a Bootneck. He got caught up in the Suez Canal and the Jungle fighting in Borneo.  Some of the stories (unfortunately some are second hand from my dad) are pretty interesting to say the least.
