ABeck
Scale was changed from 48th to 32nd for the ease of design and construction. It "resembles" the outline of the 2013 G-6-kit. It will be nothing more than a"step into the hobby" kit.
Sturmovik
Is this like the 21st Century Toys models but without camouflage and decals?
ABeck
No, it is an own new development based on the 32nd G-6 in terms of size and outline. It is not a kit from our understanding but a "step into the hobby build something together", a cousin of the Airfix-legolike-application. The parts, better told as elements, are divided along the color demarcation lines of a standard Messerschmitt factory color scheme. The elements/parts are of solid RLM-color to avoid the need of painting. I cannot tell if stickers or decals will be included. 1
JFM148
Interesting news. Revell is listening to its real customers. This looks like a modern kit for future busier than ever generations. This philosophy was started by Tamiya and EVERYBODY praised Tamiya for the new approach. So this is a nice and welcomed surprise. Now there is more time to focus on paint and weather instead of the boring parts of modelling...

tangerine_sedge
Produce the sprues in different colours and stick a 'Matchbox' name on the label and jobs jobbed.
JFM148
This is the way Revell needs to invest in developing potential markets and make a profit. Just like Hobby Boss and in a certain way, Tamiya. I will try myself one of this. For those who like to painting and weathering, well...Here is your opportunity! Hope they will return to the "not so serious and professional" modelling that inspired a lot of modellers back in the 70s... Well, it’s about the same price, in Yen, as the regular kit Revell 1/32 Bf 109G-2/4. Revell has clearly taken a page from the Airfix Quick-Builds with this but at a much higher price point. Much, much higher tbh. Maybe the price in the EU will be more compatible with this being an entry level kit.
dragonlanceHR
Japanese import prices of US and European kits were always insane and should not be taken as guideline for local price IMO.

TEXANTOMCAT
Similar in many ways to the push fit 1/48 Meng P-51 which I bought as a curio more than anything else and went together superbly with excellent detail! TT
