Mr T
Now that is interesting, bang goes less kits in 2021. AMP do some interesting kits. Been slowly reading 'Into the Black' that has some info on the project

Mike Esposito
Cool! 😎 Would get one of those!
cmatthewbacon
I’d get one in 1/72, but I’d DEFINITELY get one quickly in 1/48... There’s an article I wrote about Dynasoar and a period video here: https://cmatthewbacon.smugmug.com/Dynasoar Best, M.
Tony Grand
Like your article very much...and the video! A while back I built the 1/72 Anigrand X-20...it needed a lot of correction....making it a companion build with the Skylancer, as Neil Armstrong evolved abort tactics in the latter. I made a what-if article out of it (published in SAMI) in which Armstrong flew the X-20 into orbit. Hi have lost track of the article but I vaguely remember the X-20 being used as a rescue craft in another scenario! Definitely up for this one... Violet Club
Note : The anigrand kit is correct in fact as is it one of the X-20 first design (different from the latter and definitive version as proposed by mikromir).

cmatthewbacon
For anyone looking for reference: Scott Lowther's Aerospace Projects Review V3N4 https://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/772981 Roy Houchin's ARA Press "Dynasoar" http://www.arapress.com/dyna-soar-book/ Are both pretty required reading, with plenty of good plans and illustrations to boot. Robert Godwin's Apogee Press "Dynasoar: the NASA Mission Reports" https://www.cgpublishing.com/Books/Dynasoar.html is a compilation of many official publications on Dynasoar, and has the CD-ROM with videos on, albeit in very dated formats. When I wrote my piece, back in 1991, none of these were published, though I did manage to get hold of most of the documents in the latter from Boeing Archives, NASA History Office and the AF Academy... best, M.

Eric Mc
Even though I've already built the Anigrand resin kit, I'd definitely get this one too as it depicts a later (and more definitive) iteration of the design.
Violet Club
I hope that the transtage will be added in the kit (especially if the model will be displayed as "in orbit").

Violet Club
Unfortunately, the transtage is not included (and it is necessary to display the X-20 in orbit). However, it is not a problem if you want to display the X-20 on the ground.
