ACHTUNG PANZER (1939-45) GB

I have voted for this GB.

I've had a Academy Stug IV in my stash for about 10 years. Hull and wheels are painted - I should go for KUTA4, but am building 2 Spitfires, a Hurricane and a Gladiator at the moment.

Anyway the StuG has a few extras like and individual link track set, and aluminium turned gun barrel and two sets of figures to sit on top.

If I don't get that lot reduced somehow it's gonna form a singularity! :analintruder:

I'm not sure if this GB can help you clear that lot.

You are defiantly approaching SABLE - Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy. :chair:

Who does archery without pants? A weird avtar if ever I saw one.

W

Well nobody has ever said that before!

Your avtar needs to know that I'm wearing Limestone colored jeans - a bit like the base colour of my StuG.

There's no arrow on that bow either - so I'm just posing for a picture.

I do hope this build comes up trumps. I just got delivery of a 1/35 Grant. Totally not my scale, but I fancy building this tank. It definately needs better tracks and probably metal gun barrels though.

Its the Tamiya one

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh. Academy Grant is loads better. Have a look at http://www.usarmymodels.com/ARTICLES/Building%20M3%20Lee/1%20intro%20and%20research.html or this one http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=93862&ord=&page=1. Both will give you some idea of whats needed for the old Tamiya kit.

Best of luck with it anyways.

Why don't you try a Mirage Hobby 1/72 Grant: http://www.onthewaymodels.com/reviews/Mirage/GrantMk1prev.htm

If you order them direct from Mirage you can get 'em for about £13-14 to your door: http://www.mhshop.pl/Mirage720804GrantMkIElAlamein

Just a thought. :wicked:

I voted for this one - even more spoilt for choice as to what to build now it's not just German targets, er armour.

Ok chaps...

Five days to go until the voting ends....

One things for that is nice is that we aint last!... which is a good thing.

So, lets un-insert fingers, and get some support going.

Like has happened on my other GB thread, how about we add a prize or two into the festivities...

If anyone is interested in donating a prize, let me know. I have one put aside already as well...

VOTE FOR US DAMMIT! OOPS, NEARLY FORGOT... :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

:santa: STEVE :santa:
