  1. It's not ugly and you made a really good job. I like it. And I know the airplane.
  2. Never new it existed a 1/48 of this aircraft. Schön!
  3. Everytime I see your name, Max, I know that it will get freezing cold in a second. As always a piece of art, thx for showing!
  4. Must have been a real racer with the engine in this "middle" position. Unusual yet beautiful, I like it.
  5. Nice story and even nicer model. I do not see why you are not satisfied with it.
  6. Don't know what to say, Simply WOW! One of the best and most detailed builds I have ever seen.
  7. Thx a lot for the helpful hints, they are very much appreciated.
  8. I just got the kit the other day and this is a wonderful example for me. Which I won't reach of cause. Very very nice and dirty.
  9. In general there is nothing wrong with the canard config. It can't stall. Once again: never saw this one. Very interesting and very pretty.
  10. Back in the sixties ... a Revell B-25 in a weird scale, 1/64 if I remember right (found out later after some 1/72 kits).
  11. /edit: I referred to several years old content, sry.
  12. As far as I know Clement changed his name to "Batman" later. Very very nice, I know the "airplane" from fotos but never saw a model.
  13. If I'd seen this thread before I wouldn't have posted my FN 2 hrs later. Very nice, I love the original airplane as well as your phantastic model!
  14. This was my first build two years ago after some 30 years of building no (static) models, so it's not good or to be honest it's really bad: The White 01 featuring Hero of the Soviet Union Vitaly Popkov showing his bad finger to some FW-190 pilot who forced him to land in that swampy area. Zvezda 1/48, airbrushed Hataka colours, base is part of a chopping board covered with sand and epoxy.
  15. Perfect camo and weathering. Extremely well done!
  16. i am very impressed, fantastic work!
  17. Very convincing, I feel with Darby. Excellent work again, Max.
  18. Thank you very much John, I think I found it. The 1914 version ist about 45 Euros here in Germany And I found a kit für 120 Euros, made in resin. But I stay with injection moulding. Thanks again!
  19. Thank you all a lot for your kind words. John is that RR still available? Did not run over it so far.
  20. This is my interpretation of the CSM-Lanchester, built OOB except the wooden parts. This is the Persia version according to the building instructions. All colours and clear coats are airbrushed vallejo acrylics, the weathering was done with oil paint, pigments and (insert correct english expression here 😕 - in german it would be something like "pastel crayon"). The "unditching boards" as well as the load floor are made from real wood. I hope you like it a bit.
