  1. Really nice collection there but looking at the tyre marks on the runway, I'd rather not explain to my boss how I got so close to the runway edge!!
  2. Thought there was a bit of Vigilante about it! Excellent!!
  3. Hi Al! that looks absolutely amazing!! Keep it up and you'll be OK for the 4th March!!! Way back in November you said you were sending a PM with a question, was that the one about my mate Paul who you flew with? Cheers!
  4. Now that is luverly!! I'll definitely be contacting this Dana chap as well!!
  5. You're being far too modest! It's a cracking build and one to be quite proud of!
  6. Or the SAAF one's that were proccured at the same time that the Buccaneers were.... But I'll put my hand up for two!!
  7. Can't open the linky thingy.... 'puter says no.
  8. Oooops! Sorry, didn't realise that there was a protocol in place...
  9. Me, obviously! I must admit that all this chat about the Trumpton one has got me all fired up like a pair of vertically stacked RR Avons on full reheat!!
  10. With the release and subsequent banter about Trumpeter's 1/32nd one, has there ever been a Lightning Group Build? I've got a few Airfix ones that need an excuse to start....
  11. That is one of the nicest Lancs I've ever seen! The paintwork is stunning and you should be really proud of the subtle weathering! Superb!!
  12. In the middle of doing one right now and well, hmmmm........ It's easily the best 1/72nd Concorde out there! All points above are valid, although Bra-Z do a resin insert for under the visor. The only way to make the visor work would be to try and copy the fragile plastic linkages in metal! Good Luck!!
  13. Nick, that Spitfire is just superb!!
  14. Fantastic! That Omani Jag is the Canine's Danglies!
  15. Wow! That's a beautifully eclectic group of builds there. Loved them all, but that Hunter, well, isn't she lovely?!
  16. You don't want to encourage that around here! Or maybe you do.... My personal favourite is Mek Pak! But seriously, like many others I've stumbled on this and this is not a work in progress it's a masterclass!!!! That is stunning and you're freely given advice is almost humbling! Merry Xmas to you!!
  17. Mine's still got the Beattie's price tag on it... Was 49.98 now 35!!! Maybe I should sell it and make a ton?
  18. Absolutely stunning Mike! And yes please John, let's see it back again!
  19. Hi all!! I'm doing the old Airfix HP42 and as I don't want to do it as one of the supplied options, does anyone knopw what font would be a good choice to use for the registration and also the name of the aircraft? I'm going to try and replicate G-AAXE 'Hengist' as it has the unusual nose mounted light not seen on the other aircraft, or at least none of them show it fitted in piuctures that I have found so far. It's also got what looks like a DF loop mounted forward of the flag pole. Any comments welcome!
  20. Two on order from the local model shop!!! Now I've seen it here, I can't wait!!!
  21. Buy an original 1:72 Airfix Tiger Moth (moulded in yellow plastic) and after you've had fun with that, you'll have more yellow sprue than you know what to do with! Now, get some black sprue, there's lots of that stuff around, and after stretching each and twisting the two together, add a very fine touch of liquid cement and you'll have tons of handles and effectively free of charge!
