  1. Absolutely superb! It's a pretty fantastic base kit except for the nose intake & your extra work looks really neat.
  2. Brilliant, if just for the comments! 😆 Delightful heart felt vocal delivery!
  3. You knew I'd love that! Huge fan of Propaganda, in all their variations.
  4. Stunning build of a rare subject.
  5. I thought I'd share this really well done cover. Quite appropriate as it's Blancmange & Vince Clarke who have both famously covered Abba in the past, they've covered what is my personal favourite Abba track The Visitors. Almost sounds like Abba mixed with La Dusseldorf & Neu!
  6. Back to Kraftwerk again. Remember having this original 12" version on vinyl. Ended up giving it away to another Kraftwerk die hard friend. Possibly the greatest extended 12" remix ever. When Kraftwerk started to realise that everyone else had caught up with them by 1983 they abandoned the release of the album that Tour De France was supposed to have been on. Instead they took everything they'd worked on since 1981 to the studios of François Kervorkian in New York. It took engineers including a drummer from Scritti Politti another three years to re-record & remix the next Kraftwerk album Electric Cafe. This ultimately led to two members leaving the band due to being sidelined due to continuous lack of creativity & no work.
  7. Slightly different to Rammstein but just been skimming through YouTube to rediscover something. Can't believe this is around 30 years old already. From a pioneering electronic group of lads two of which apparently originated from Stowmarket in Suffolk. This is an offshoot from the electronic group called The Black Dog, individuals went by different names & I bought this as a CD E.P. - I originally blame the late John Peel for finding this.
  8. At work with my random favourites playing to keep me going....
  9. Another old favourite brought up to date.
  10. Something that you don't often see Kraftwerk perform live.
  11. Funny that while I haven't been looking here for a while, you guys start talking about Kraftwerk. If I was a stick of rock I'd have Kraftwerk running through my centre! I shied away from paying the extortionate amount for the Albert Hall gig, maybe next time. I have asked a ffriend to buy me a T-Shirt though! I have my memories from the July 1991 Brixton Academy gig (£10.50 ticket) & seeing them at the Tribal Gathering Luton Hoo event in 1997 which was probably the greatest thing I've ever seen on a stage, Jarre at the Eiffel Tower a close second. I still maintain that Kraftwerk has polished their sound & minimised things a little too much. Ever since they stopped taking their Kling Klang portable stage studio with them, they haven't sounded or looked as good since. Apparently they did have the portable studio with them for their Minimum Maximum tour. This is my personal favourite from them & the best version of this live.
  12. Reminds me a little of this, with that often used percussion.
