  1. This is absolutely stellar, @Fuad. Thank you for sharing this! Cheers, Albert
  2. What a gorgeous build, and stellar photography. Cheer, Albert
  3. Very nice! The ID stripes and belly tank add a nice splash of color to an already unique camouflage scheme. Cheers, Albert
  4. This is fantastic, deserving of a standing ovation. Excellent work on the wood grain effect, and the clean work on the metal areas. Cheers, Albert
  5. This is super nice. That mottling is spot on....er, no pun intended (maybe). Seriously, this is an absolutely fantastic. Cheers, Albert
  6. Thanks, Milan! Thank you, HK! Thank you, Stef! Thank you, Keith!
  7. Looks terrific, and very labor intensive masking wise. How was the kit itself in terms of fit?
  8. Thank you! The Ta-183 is one of those Luftwaffe '46 airplanes. It never existed beyond a design and a wind tunnel model, but it did lead to the development of the Argentinian FMA IAe 33 Pulqui II (also designed by Kurt Tank of Fw-190 fame) and also heavily influenced the design of the MiG-15. Thank you!
  9. Hi All, This is Amtech's 1/48th scale Focke Wulf Ta-183 Huckebein, which was built back when the kit was first released in the early 2000s. It has since been rereleased by Tamiya, and most recently, Academy. I used Model Master II RLM enamels and Metalizer lacquers for the paint scheme, and the kit decals for the markings. Thanks for looking.
  10. Hi All, This is RPM's 1/48 M1917 Model T World War I ambulance in French markings. My model club was hosting a mystery kit build-off, and this was the model I grabbed from a table full of bagged kits (anyone wanting to participate had to bring an unopened kit in a plain brown paper bag). The model had to be finished by February of last year so as not to incur a monetary penalty...I made the deadline, though weather kept me from revealing the model in person. I still need to make a base for it, which I'll get to. One of these days. Thanks for looking.
  11. Thank you! What made it especially satisfying to see this one make it to completion was it was basically consigned to the plastic storage container of doom after decaling the body last year. I started this model in May of 2024, and had lost interest in it by July, so it was sent to unfinished model purgatory with the other misfit models I lose interest in. Fast forward to this past September, after pulling the body from said container of doom, I decided to finish this model instead of cracking open a fresh kit and starting a new project. I really like this scheme, so it would have been a shame to let it sit only as a decaled body only for all eternity.
  12. Thank you, Keefr! Thank you for the kudos! I used a 3D printed chassis jig from Jim Rogers of Salvinos JR to set the ride height. It has blocks formed onto it for the lower control arms to rest on while the glue sets up.
  13. Hi All, I finished Tyler Reddick's Beast Unleashed Toyota Camry from the 2023 Martinsville fall race. Tyler started 19th, and finished in the 26th position, thus being eliminated from the Round of 8 that season. I used a blank Salvinos JR Toyota donor kit for the base kit from Mike's Decals, and 3 Amigos Decals for the body graphics and tires. Tamiya TS-14 Gloss Black and Testors Lacquer Glosscote were used for the finish. Aftermarket parts include a resin fuel filler inlet and rocker panel exhaust outlets from Jaye's Model Garage and Detail Master hood and decklid pins. Thank you for looking.
