Have finally got around to taking some photos of my attempt at a jag. Have tried one of these kits a couple of years ago and thought it was so bad i `disposed` of it !! This was a good oppurtinity to make me try one again and i have to say i still think the kit is as bad as i remember but it is coming along slowly but surely. Am using an aftermarket seat, pilot, wheels and flaps/slats and the decals are a set i had lying around that i used for another kit but have the scheme for a 41 Sqn jet with a red spine and wrap around camo which i thought would be different. Will try and post some more pics as i go along

Looks as if it's going well for you this time around Sandy. Think I know the bird you're describing and she's a pretty nice scheme.

Tell me, who makes the pilot figure you're using? They are something sadly lacking in too many kits these days.

Col , using a P J Productions pilot, they make a range of figures in 72, 48 and 32 - there really well cast in resin with fantastic detail and unusual poses that add a bit of interest to an aircraft. They are a french company and have a web site you can find through google or hannats stock their full range.

Nice to see a bit of progress on someone's built :)

Keep up the good work. Must post a few pics of mine soon...

I went for the same pilot figure by the looks of things, really impressed with the clean casting and detailed as well. I'll put some pics up when I get back home tomorrow - had a delivery from big H yesterday containing him and some funky paragon resin bits.

Coming along nicely by the looks of things!

Nice one, mine's in a similar stage of production :) there's some filling to do but the gaps are small so i just use revell plasto. That will look great Sandy with a red spine

How bad can that Airfix be? Ive yet to hear much good about it. But I do see some 41 Sq marks there, so this will be interesting...

Quick update , it`s coming along as you can see below , not one of my better projects but should look ok when finished. Bit more decaling to go , weathering then finishing coat , then adding all the bits , should be done by xmas - I hope !!!

You've just changed my opinion about that scheme Sandy - hated it, but that looks really nice mate. Slow down you lot though!

Same as! You've done a great job on that so far Sandy :)
