Mike Esposito
Wow. This subject would be perfect for a remake with modern tooling. AIRFIX? Edited March 1, 2015 by Mike Esposito

Dave Fleming
I'd imagine we'd be more likely to get it from one of the European manufacturers such as Legato/AZ.
Mike Esposito
WiP: Seeing as the Airfix kit was tooled in 1968, and the Revell kit is a 1/77 scale..... Seems we need a new one. Edited March 2, 2015 by Mike Esposito
Don McIntyre
I think the Revell kit was originally from Monogram.
Mike Esposito
Yes. Unfortunately it seems civilian craft get the short end of the stick in terms of priority. We can still hope.

RAL
How about a 1/48 scale Trimotor? Somewhat expensive but a colleague who has purchased this kit says it is beautifully crafted: http://www.ajp-maquettes.com/Dossier%20Anglais/Lignes%20anglais/AJP-Collection%20Lignes%20-%20FORD%20Trimoteur%20-%20anglais.htm At present, it seems to be the only game in town, especially if you model in 1/48. Admiral Puff
Airfix is slowly working through its old catalogue and redoing various subjects. Although the Trimotor isn't bad compared to others that have been redone (e.g. compare the old and new Defiants), you never know your luck in a big city ... modelldoc
For his time, the Airfix kit is good: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21603181@N08/16060243517/ The Monogram is the best in this markings: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21603181@N08/16059935519/in/photostream/ And don't forget the old FROG onces: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21603181@N08/16059977259/in/photostream/ modelldoc
Max Headroom
That last one is the Fokker F.VII! Still nice though. And yes I would like new tools of either (1/72 or 1/48 will do). Trevor
