I have a scheme in mind that Meng provide and also some Star Decals. It won't be 100% accurate but should look good hopefully. Just need to find the right dark red and green.
Stef N.
This is the sort of scheme (232) I will be doing but with blue numbers. It may work well but if you don't hear from me again I've had a bit of a nightmare.😀 I can't find any evidence that blue numbers were used on Panthers so it will have to be red. Jinxman
Good luck - hope it turns out ok. I'll be knocking up some masks this weekend for the 1/2 ton with bit of luck.

Although I've done this a fair few times before it's funny how nervous I still get at this point of a build.
Stef N.
Well, it went without a hitch and only one small thing pulled off by the camo putty. Happy with the colours, especially the green, but now I will give the whole thing a dusting of Buff just to calm the colours and bring them together. Then a sealing, decals and on to weathering. Colours used were; XF-67 NATO Green and then MIG-AMMO Reseda Green B to lighten. (This mixes and sprays really well with Revell's Aqua Color Mix.) XF-9 Hull Red and lightened with XF-68 NATO Brown. Migs Camo Putty was liberally used. Thanks for looking and have a good week. Sunblock and umbrella weather coming up.😀👍

Stef N.
Thanks Pete. The plan seems to be coming together nicely and learning some new tricks and techniques to boot.👍
Stef N.
On the home straight now. Painting tools, touch ups to the tracks, some light weathering and should be finished.

IanC
Nice work. To my eye that looks more like a hard edged late war factory applied scheme than the spray it on yourself type of camo, but it does indeed look good!

I like it but it's definitely more a G type of scheme. I think Meng have made it up or misinterpreted the one on the Internet. Nevermind, it's all good training for me.
PeteH1969
It really looks the part as an A. Pete
Stef N.
So I can say that I have taken this as far as I can. It's been a fun build learning a lot of new tricks and techniques along the way, making mistakes, doing good and bad research and seeing what is possible to do with this very old kit. A big thanks to @JOCKNEY and @Enzo the Magnificent for the work they did for this GB and thanks to all for following along. I'll get some better photos sorted at the weekend and post them in the gallery. Cheers all.👍
JOCKNEY
Congratulations Stef I'm very jealous of your Panther build, like many reading this I have one in the stash but really wish it was finished and looking like this one Cheers Pat 1

Keeff
I've just found this topic @Stef N. ..... another great build by you, and some inspiration for my Panther build (when I get round to it! ) Keith 😁
Stef N.
Cheers @Keeff. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. There are far better Panther kits out there but probably not as fun. 👍

bissyboat
Very nice camouflage on this old Panther. You´re breathing life back into to this antiquated tank kit from Tamiya. I agree with blue markings. It will look great with the colour scheme. Nice job! ⚓🙌
