Spiny
Shame about the issues you've had with the bonnet (it's a good job you haven't seen the Micra I just did as it's riddled with dust), but I'd be happy if I ended up with a bonnet like that. And I'd hope you're displaying it with the engine bay open anyway to show off that lovely engine you've made.

Thanks a lot @Spiny for you empathy She will be displayed differently according to the mood of the day That said, once finished, I'll take some good pictures with my SLR camera, using my Christmas gift... a huge Neewer Lightbox

CrazyCrank
Afternoon guys The new hinge has been drawn and 3D print, assembled and painted and then put in place, not without difficulties, due to the lack of room tu put my fingers in the engine bay 😅 I used this 3D printed part, a tiny piece of clear sheet (phone covering protection) that I glued on it, and the same metal stripped I'd previously crafted, and which slides into the "box" formed by the clear sheet and the 3 D printed part More better photos and videos to come this evening . Stay tuned if you like
CrazyCrank
Evening gentlemen 😎 As promised, some photos and videos I took, using my new toys: a light-box Santa Claus brought to me, and a motorized rotating display unit I purchase by myself for a few peanuts price I shot these very quickly, using my iPhone instead of my SLR camera with a tripod, just to show you some better stuff than those I'm used to "exhibit" ! Frankly, it was about time ! Sorry for the dust on the body shell, I hadn't seen it before shooting 🙄 With a bit of practice, I'll finally be able to show you the stages of my montages with sexier photos than before (note that it wasn't difficult to do better, shame on me! ). A short video, now : The engine bay is now complete, and I'm currently finalizing the inside of the trunk. See you later, guys
CrazyCrank
Good evening guys The trunk inside is now finalized : As I leave home in 3 days, I'm not going to begin the interior layout, because I won't be technically able to finish it on Thursday evening. So, I've stored all the prepared parts and the car in its actual state, in a hermetic box, to keep it off the reach of more dust and other calamities. This build will continue when I come back home, at the end of April. But probably, I'll start other WIP threads during my stay in Montreal, with some U-Gears or Robotime wooden vehicles, as almost no tools are needed to assemble them (well, we'll still use a hobby knife and some files)
Neddy
(Shakes head in resigned admiration...) what more can you say apart from "stunning"? The amount of work that has gone into this part of the build and the depth of detail achieved is....sorry, clean out of superlatives. 1
