Tamiya has two RAF Dark Green versions in the XF series.

One in the 60s range, and one in the 80s. It's the latter you'd want, it matches up quite well with samples.

I think I have the one in the 80s.  It appears to me to be lighter and greener than xtracrylix dg and H163.  Not disagreeing with you, btw.  Just an observation.

Looking very nice in what is, a very smart scheme and great to see it with the decals on now. The colour of the roundels look ok to me in the photos. I thought they didn't want to be to bright anyway with insignia red and blue being a bit dull in tone.

Nice spinner back plate too. One step towards your first full scratch build maybe?

Maybe, when we have a fully integrated porcine aviation transport solution.

Prop / spinner unit and sticky-out bits are painted:

And got a coat of klear on the main assembly, which has sealed the decals.

Hopefully, I can get this finished in the next week or so and restart progress on the F-86.

And here is the latest progress.

I got the walkways masked and painted, put a wash into the panel lines, and sprayed a coat of matt varnish.

Here's the underside:

Tomorrow I'll try to get the undercarriage leg assemblies together and stuck on.
