Bugle07
I do like the sea sludge on the keel, such a great effect. The bow wave and wake look good as well, dynamic (fancy word for a Friday), gives an impression of movement and weight to the scene. Michael M
I'm glad to hear that, as I'm not going to change much in the water, just add the destroyer and a bit of foam around it
Michael M
...and the rest of junk, all in base colors before further operations :) Thanks for watching Mick Edited September 18, 2020 by Michael M

IJNfan
It looks very nice. One, question could you maybe explain a little how you made your seascape? cause it looks great!
Michael M
In short it's the oats method. On the previous page and in my Krakowiak's WIP the whole thing is shown in steps. I'm not particularly happy about this one, it's to calm for my taste, but it had to be like it, for the destroyer to move at the top speed, quid pro quo
Michael M
All done and banged around. Now time to put it together, it needs 2-3 days drying time and then I'll move to final assault phase A lot of pictures, because I'm geting lazy lately, so they may be the last ones before RFI. All of it: I think I'll cover the smallest lifeboat both tarp, even MACRO being the enemy of model making can't explain it's crappiness Thanks for watching Mick

Courageous
So much work on fiddly stuff, looking forward to it being a 'ship'. Stuart
Michael M
Thanks I think it'll start to transform into a ship around Monday. First the hull will go into the base and then the rest of junk will follow. I still have to figure out the cloud for the flying torpedo... It'll be good fun.

ArnoldAmbrose
Gidday Mick, and, er, don't forget to add the tubes. 😁 She looks really good, and is certainly in a bit of a hurry. Regards, Jeff.
Terry1954
That is looking amazing, and I REALLY like that torpedo launch effect of splash and go, allowing for the ships forward movement! Terry
Michael M
Tubes are done, including 'nearly flying' long lance, but they'll go in last. Be patient
