Hello,

here's my UM (Unimodels) Achilles IIc Tank Destroyer.

I believe this vehicle was also called 'Wolverine'.

It's basically an American M-10 with a british gun.

The vehicle belongs to 11th Armoured Division, 75th Anti-Tank Regiment, operating in NW Europe, Winter 1944/45.

Painted with Mr.Hobby acrylics.

Thanks for your interest!

All pictures: Wolfgang Rabel, IGM Cars & Bikes.

Although I did fare better with the tracks on this model, one of the links on the left back side opened (this was only discovered when I looked at the pictures and might have happened during transport to my photographer!).

This will be fixed .... but is present on the photograph, unfortunately...

Here's shots of the interior before closing it up.

The interior hull was painted 'Off-White'.

Nicely done sir.....I have to say the kit tracks look better than I expected, did you shorten the end-connectors at all?

PS - Your front right short track run may have popped at the sprocket too.....This is one of the reasons I like to build my track units first and paint them later, this way I can literally weld 'em together with liquid glue for strength (my models get handled quite a lot) and cover up any mess with weathering, which I would have to add anyway. :coolio:

PPS - Nice work on the .50cal, at 1/72 that really is well done!

Excellent job, especially for the scale!

Excellent work, would normally only do this scale for wargaming, but I might fancy on of these for a static, more detailed model.

:goodjob:

X2 on the hand photo Roman. Hard to realize just how much work and detail you've put in until you realize the scale involved. Trojan work.
