plasmahal Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Hi there! any news about the release and price? thanks Keep your eyes on this link: http://www.revell.de/splash/countdown.html We'll see what revell of germany will give us.
boom175 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I thought that Revell of USA has the Star Wars license for the US and will be re issuing some former Fine Molds kits and making some new kits as well for the new film. I see were Revell of Germany has the European license, and I didn't think they were going to do the Fine Molds Kits. Of course Bandai has the Japanese license. I could be wrong about the RoG not doing the Fine Molds.
Mike Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Don't forget that RoG are now owned by Hobbyco, who own Revell Monogram over in the States. I've just got some RRPs in from Revell a moment ago, actually:September Build & Play 06750 Poe's X-wing Fighter £16.9906751 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter £16.9906752 Millennium Falcon £16.9906753 Resistance X-wing Fighter £16.99 October Easykit 06692 Poe's X-wing Fighter £24.9906693 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter £34.9906694 Millennium Falcon £59.9906695 Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle £34.9906696 Resistance X-wing Fighter £24.99 September Model Kits 03600 Millennium Falcon £5.9903601 X-wing Fighter £5.9903602 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter £5.9903603 TIE Interceptor £5.9903604 Snowspeeder £5.9903605 TIE Fighter £5.99 Those last ones seem a bit low unless they're mini-kits More research needed, methinks. 1
Despy Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Not so much -meaningful- from Revell, Bandai seems the way to go. http://www.revell.de/splash/landing.html
dazinio Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 This may sound daft but they do look very toy like to me and not a representation of a (Fantasy) movie Spaceship.
Smiffy Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Not daft. They are very toylike. Seems they are very much aimed at the kids market.
rom1 Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Keep your eyes on this link: http://www.revell.de/splash/countdown.html We'll see what revell of germany will give us. Deadman Disciple Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) http://culttvman.com/main/wonderfest-2015-revell-star-wars-kits/ Ive ordered from culttvman in the past & whilst they have an awesome model store, you will have to pay their shipping costs & import charges on top of that. Last year (with my PPI) I bought:- Moebius Battlestar Pegasus & Moebius TOS Battlestar Galactica, which cost me $185 all told with p&p. Then I had to pay parcelforce/Post Office import costs on top of that & at the time all told it came to about £130, so thats £65 each. My wife was not best pleased that id spent £200 on model kits with my PPI, along with those mentioned above I also bought a Moebius TOS Viper with PE & the Belkits 1:24 Ford Fiesta WRC. So dont expect the master kits to be cheap if you buy them from the U.S. Edited September 5, 2015 by Deadman Disciple
Deadman Disciple Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) Then I saw this. at 8.40, I literally soiled myself, the Millennium Falcon is 904 parts. Edited September 5, 2015 by Deadman Disciple 2
Smiffy Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Anytime I've ordered from Culttvman, I've also had it stopped and been charged customs. If you guys are considering ordering these from the US, then I would recommend Starship Modeler. Never once (in 12,years of ordering) have I ever had a parcel from them, intercepted by Parcel Farce.
