Hi guys,

this is the first of my entries Hasegawa's very nice Scooter, being built as a Marine bird in Nam...

fitted the avionics bumps & intakes first ...

Hi guys, & thanks for the compliments..

Airframe is built up & waiting for primer, have to say used more filler in this then the last 5 builds!...

change of markings too as VMAT-102 were a training wing, so I'll do the CAG bird from VA-195 who did run CAS ops during their tours...

I'm surprised, last time I made one it all fitted perfectly. I've seen your stuff so i doubt that it's poor technique on your part and I've seen me working so I know it's not my magic fingers! I guess different batches of plastic, different moulding temperatures, different shrinkage rates and so forth really do add up to significant differences in fit.

Hi guys, built up the lower fuse now just the little bit to put on.....

Hi Don, built one a few years back & don't remember using this much filler only a bit round the gun ports so.....

any how...

pre shaded Tamiya NATO brown & gunz red for the dropped slats....

just sprayed a coat of XF-1 to the undersides post later....

Hi guys, been busy at work (bloody shifts!!!) anyhow...

upper airframe sprayed with Gunz FS16440 (H315) & masks removed fitted slats & flaps...

Hi Andy,

I cannot comment much on your A-4, since I never made something similar, but it makes me happy to see some other similarities like piece of ordinary glass on your workbench. I remember paying around 1 GBP for my 10x10 cm piece but it's worth maybe 100 GBP in scale modelling: working with PE, masking... and so on... :goodjob:
