  1. Good work with the tarps they look...right! May I inquire what kit they're from? I'd throw a couple more jerry cans somewhere if I had them. Tom
  2. Smashing work. I always weigh up whether to use PE. But I'm getting more adventurous! Good job the guards haven't upgraded to gatling guns and auto grenade launchers! Tom
  3. I'm definitely feeling the need for a big lotto win! Oh, to have the finance, the space and the time! (should put skill in there as well)! Tom
  4. I use a small sewing needle pushed, pointy end, into a bit of pencil eraser with the eye chopped off halfway down (like a pitchfork). Tom

  8. Here's a build log: (not mine) Riich are up there with MiniArt and Gecko for complication! I've built the mortar version and all I can say is test fit extensively! I had an alignment issue and couldn't for the life of me figure out why. They build into a lovely kit, and, until completed, I never knew how overscale the Tamiya kit was (so I don't think the aftermaket stowage sets for Tamiya's kit would fit if you feel tempted) Tom
  9. It's not an oncoming train. Its a big mirror some jokers blocked the tunnel with! Love the tyres. I usually use a bit of rag when drybrushing, And b***ger what they say. I like the effect it gives. Tom
  10. Could you squash the net down a bit? It looks too much like a rolled up fence to me. Tom
  11. If the kit has individual or link and length tracks I assemble and paint the lower hull. Paint and fix wheels make the track (with sag where appropriate) paint and fix. Then mask all the track and wheels with 'boxes' made from paper before continuing up the vehicle. Armoured cars and trucks definitely have their wheels fixed after major painting. Tom
  12. So you should Jeff - A Norwegian Wood! Might as well get all the Beatles comments out of the way now gentlefolk. Tom
  13. If you look closely (not for more than 3 seconds at a time and with suitable eye protection) at Jon's avatar pic you can just see the tube from the IV feeding apparatus. Tom
