Cementsniffer
Thank you all for your very kind words on my He-177 project. I cheated on the He-177 masking by using some precut Eduard masks. Personally I have always found the precut mask system to be inferior to plain ol' masking tape or bare metal foil. My "Berlin" nose Junkers (A previous consingment job too!)was masked by bare metal foil and I believe the results are much more sharp and consistent with the framing. Enjoy and sorry I can't answer all your questions at once.

KiwiSteve
What a great build the 88 looks sweet, but as before that canopy is stunning the level of detail seen through it is amazing Hopefully we can convince you to post a topic in the "Tools & Tips" section on using bare metal foil for masking canopies, because the results you get from it is awesome. turnerdad
Beautiful. 1/48 I assume? Canopy masking is the best I've seen. I tried foil once and it was fab to put down but left too much residue and was a bugger to get off. Tips would be welcome. Mottling is lovely too-freehand or mask?
