Gakken De Dion Bouton

Recommended Posts

Whilst doing my Road Roller, I filled in spare time with this Riko De Dion Bouton. It is a very basic kit with very few parts.

Done OOB it was a nice easy distraction to the roller.

Nice little thing. sixties?

Yes, RIKO were, I think, UK distribution agents for some Japanese kit manufacturers .

It's been a while since I saw one of Thier stickers on a kit box

Blast from the past! Gakken was the manufacturer of this kit: RiKo (Richard Kohnstamm) was the importer, in the same way that Hales used to deal with Hasegawa etc.

I've changed the title

I remember Riko doing slot car stuff

I used to do it and remember having a Rikoflash motor
