Getting exciting now, looking forward to the grey go on.

Chris

Thanks Chris,

Me too,

I'm expecting a few touchups though.

The chippie is a lumpy old bird after all. :D

Alistair

And then after it was dry.

There a few touch ups required but I was expecting that.

Other than that I'm fairly chuffed with the result.

Thanks for looking,

Thanks Roger,

If you'll pardon the expression I've got the touch-ups around the bumpy bits to sort out yet.

It doesn't look that crisp up close.

On investigation in good daylight I noticed a run on the underside, a poorly sanded bit on the port wing leading edge and a flat spot on the port nose.

Some gentle filling and sanding later.

If the weather improves I'll get some paint down later.

Thanks for looking,

Great to see the big reveal, looking good, once fettled will look fantastic Alistair.

Chris

Thanks Chris,

I'm just itching to get it sorted out but the weather here has been awful today.

Hopefully better tomorrow and I'll get a chance to get this moving on.

Sorry to see these bumps in the road-- definitely sympathize! but you've got it half fixed already.

Thanks David,

Nothing major just errors on my part.

I should manage to get then sorted without too much pain.

Despite the niggles it is looking very good. Looking forward to the finished model.

Thanks very much,

The niggles are entirely self inflicted.

I'll see tomorrow how things look.

Alistair,

That has cleaned up very nicely - I am becoming more and more inclined to take mine down from the Shelf of Doom!

Thanks Roger.

It took about three separate attempts to get the anti-glare panel symmetrical but I'm reasonably pleased with it.

You should dig yours up. I would be very interested in seeing what you do with it.
