Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello everyone… Im looking for info on where to find a certain set of roundels. Particularly the early type of red stars with a fine black outline. Something like the second photo in this link. https://massimotessitori.altervista.org/sovietwarplanes/pages/colors/mark-colors/mark-colors.html I need decals for early type MiG-3’s, LaGG-3’s, La-5’s, and other types. Im looking for decals in 1/72 scale for anyone that is offering help. For that matter I’m also looking for decal sets of Polish Roundels ? So if anyone has any info it would be much appreciated. dov
Just for Polish national insignia: Check them careful, since there were several changes. Over all decades long. We have an expert on the forum, he was head of the Krakau Air Force museum. He knows everything! Happy modelling
Graham Boak
Try all the various specialist transfer manufacturers: I have lots in my collection but generally aged and no longer available. But try Fantasy Print Shop, at least. I would also try Bergemot, whose sheets come with a wide range of examples and may be worth trying even if not exactly what you want. Admittedly, only John Thompson would want 67 different versions of the Yak.9... but he may have spares he could let you have? 1

John Thompson
If you go with the Techmod ones, you might want to add a bottle of Microscale Liquid Decal Film to the order - just sayin'... John 1

John Already have a bottle and in some cases (roden) I use two coats. Better to have thick decals than no decals. 3 hours ago, 72modeler said: Late to the party- as susual!
