Lootenant Aloominum Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 (edited) Early on in the Eclipse project someone said he wasn’t sure you could aero-tow a delta wing. Mark Stucky spoke up. “I know you can because I’ve done it.” He explained that he had aero-towed in hang gliders many times. See Forger’s F-106 in 1/72nd scale. Lootenant Aloominum Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 Thanks guys. It certainly is a larger airplane than its sleek lines seem to indicate. Not as bulky as an F-4, but longer and bigger, if that makes sense. Anyways, my air-to-air photos are up! 😄 Web page: https://everardcunion.com/plastic-models-2/plastic-models-contemporary-with-vietnam/forgers-f-106-in-1-72nd-scale/#top 6
Jackson Duvalier Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Lovely subject, Everard! I've one of these kits in the box, tapping it's foot expectantly for me to finish the F-102.
Nikolay Polyakov Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Lovely work, @Lootenant Aloominum! 👍
exdraken Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Very nice! Looks the size of a Mirage III, but it is the size of a IV !!
Meatbox8 Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 A very nice looking Delta Dart in an attractive and interesting scheme. I've always fancied Convair's deltas. I really like the 'air-air' pic. I'm quite surprised how big the type is. It almost looks like it could be 1/48th.
