tomprobert Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 (edited) A pretty poor year in terms of output from me, with only two builds being completed. With the arrival of a baby, a house move and a promotion at work, time at the bench has been somewhat limited. First completion was Revell's 1/32nd Heinkel He111 P-1, build more or less out of the box: Next up was Revell's 1/32nd Mig29UB, again built from the box: I've also been working on scratch-building a 1/32nd scale Avro Shackleton, but this is nowhere near completion yet... Festive wishes to you all! Tom Edited December 14, 2016 by tomprobert 13
Whofan Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Tom, with a baby, New house and promotion it's been a very productive year for you! To mis quote Private Eye, congratulations all round! I think the Heinkel and Mig are cracking builds, and for anyone who hasn't seen the Shackleton in the flesh - you are missing something special I was lucky enough (and Tom unlucky enough) to bore/ speak to Tom at SMW last month (we talked about 3d printing) and it really is a stunning - and large model.
Learstang Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 To quote Darth Vader from 'The Empire Strikes Back', 'Impressive, most impressive!'. Regards, Jason
Navy Bird Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 The output may be low, but the quality is top notch. Stunning workmanship! Scratchbuildng a 1:32 Shack - it's amazing! Cheers, Bill
CliffB Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Congratulations on having had a pretty good 2016! Cliff
