Resin model kit with metal & PE parts + Mask.

Remember Annetra is also preparing a 1/48th Mil Mi-17 kit but an injected plastic one:  http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234989250-148-mil-mi-17-mi-8mt-hip-by-annetra

Annetra Mi-17... Hope you're not in a hurry as they are dependent on AMK. A company producing nice kits but definitely not famous for its respect of schedules. Patience you must have Hyder.

It was on show at Moson today and looks very nice. Lots of parts, nicely designed. Still some way to release but when available it will be excellent.

About the Annetra kit little if anything is know, who knows when it will come.

Best regards

:analintruder: Noooiiiceee...!!!

What was the country in which I saw one of these helos turned into a bus, Afghanistan? Wouldn't it be fun to get this kit in order to turn it into a 1/48th scale bus? :giggle:

The asking price is a bit steep for that. There is a German company that makes 1/48 transparent fuselages for RC models, maybe a cheaper option for the muj bus conversion.

£120.00? Too rich for my tastes.

Will be a very big and detailed helo....

Cheap ? No.

Worth it? Probably yes!

Just received this bad boy from HAD Models today.
And what a kit it is, the details are superb and it's designed almost as a injected kit with locating pins on the fuselage halves.

The blades look like they have a metal rod molded inside to keep the blades from sagging over time. Very nice touch.

is it expensive? Yes. But well worth the money I say.

Yeah, or at least until a decent injection molded kit emerges. Trumpeter should have downscaled their Mi-8/24 kits ages ago, but I guess they're waiting till somebody comes close to releasing one.

Could'n agree more. But this resin example is a darn nice one and I'm not sure I would buy a injection molded kit when I have this one in the stash already.

A new Mi-24 kit in 1/48 would be most welcome indeed.
