Excellent work with the gust lock, and the main blade tie-downs....

I need to do something similar, but different, for my JMSDF HSS-2B from last year's STGB

as seen here:

I find that they are a nice neat solution to keep the blades nice and tidy, those Japanese ones look a bit simpler!

So I have now decided to call completion on this beastie. I finished off a few last little bits and now will go over and post in the gallery. Here are a couple of teasers!

And here she is with her Belgian SAR cousin from the Seaking STGB last year

One last comparison though, the sand filter is I feel a weakpoint of the kit, especially with those decals. So I have loosly fitted both, the Revell one is a tad smaller and sits a little lower so I have added a little booster step

Compared with the Airfix version, on which I just painted in the panels.

I think the Revell one is a bit better, just because it has better detailing and that is the one I used for most of the shots. Just a shame Airfix went for the cheap option!

Well I enjoyed this GB and hope provided you out there with a bit of insight, now to dig my #2 out from the depths and crack on with that!

Cheers now and thanks for looking in
