hairystick
I used pastel chalk dust applied with a brush. I thought it was MIG "Old Rust P230", or is it the same thing? *scratches head*
Nigel Heath
I thought it was MIG "Old Rust P230", or is it the same thing? Apologies, I was not being clear. I did use the MIG rust powder on the actual exhausts to give a slight rusty look but the smoke staining down from the exhausts was a combination of black and light grey pastel chalk powder.
louiex2
All the previous accolades sum my feelings too the only thing I can write is "What they all said!!" And so off we go to follow the next chapters in the "Wonderous Modelling Adventures of Mr. Nigel Heath and his Array of Magical Modelling Tools"

allan
Hi Nigel, You inspired me. What was meant to be a quick 2 day build to try a cheapie trigger airbrush turned into a much longer endeavour. Hope you like the final product.
