Wolfpack
Stephen According to todays paper, the C130's in RAF service are running out of wing life, some having been withdrawn already, the reckoning is that the 130J will be out of hours before Airbus get this thing into service. It's about two years behind. I hope they slap some painful penalties on Airbus for the delay. W

Gary West
Sneeky - they've just cut the front end of the Transall, the back end of the C-17 and the wings of the 130J.

speedy
I hear from a contact that the K's are being given extended life as the J's can't cope with the desert conditions. The blades on the J's are cerceptable to all the crap that thrown up in the dusty/rough environments; where as the older K's are fine? - thats what im told anyway.
