  1. Simply amazing job. The Su-22 is such a brute of a plane and you captured the look perfectly. Bravo.
  2. OK. Now my mind is totally blown away. You have crazy skills if you get these kinds of results using brush painting. I'm in awe Mr. da Vinci! I wish I could attain this level of realism using my airbrush. Don
  3. Each time I look at this build I'm even more amazed by the exhaust stains on the sides. Your other builds as well. Would love to know how you do this. Maybe a little tutorial on how it's done? (tipping hat emoticon if there were such a thing) Don
  4. Very nice build. I love the job you did on the weathering. This was a very dirty airplane. Don
  5. Excellent build of a very difficult kit. Your paint and weathering are perfect for the ole' Spad. Very nicely done sir.
  6. Stellar Build! I plan to use this as a reference for mine. Paint and weathering are spot on. And your engine has to be one of the most realistic radial I've ever seen in a model. Congratulations on a beautiful model.
  7. I just picked this kit up and the decals alone make this kit a must have if you are a Texan/Harvard fan. Beautifully printed by Cartograf with sharp clear vivid colors. I think the Swedish version is also my first up with these markings. Plan to use the leftovers on some Revell/Monogram kits as well. Very well done Italeri. Don
  8. Beautiful finish to a really challenging kit. I can only hope mine turns out as well. Congratulations!
  9. An outstanding build of one of my favorite ships. Have one in the stash and will bookmark this to save for future reference. The helo landing pad is incredible.
  10. Amazing build! Very nicely done and the two-tone paint is really eye catching. Congratz!
  11. Always a fan of the NASA birds. Your's are spot on. Well done sir! Don
  12. Lovely build. Nicely weathered. Always loved this big delta from France. Don
  13. Very cool! Looking forward to seeing this one completed. Don
  14. Danny, the resin is pretty easy to work with but you need to make sure you are wearing some kind of mask if you sand or use a Dremel or any other kind of high speed tool. The resin dust isn't very good for the 'ole lungs. As far a glueing, you'll need to use your favorite brand of CA (super) glue as regular styrene cement won't touch the stuff. Make sure you clean the mold release off before you paint and from there it's just like regular plastic. I've used kit conversions as well as make kits that were completely resin. Don't be intimidated by the stuff and you'll soon find yourself buying up all kinds of resin goodies. Just about all my plane kits have resin seats if they are available.... Hope this helps. Don
  15. Beautiful build! Love the addition of the schwimmwagons. Don
  16. Looking very nice Tim. Can't wait to see the finished project. Don
  17. Heya Jenns, I understand it's a bit rough but it takes care of the basic heavy lifting and I figure I could refine what they have started. I'm doing the same with the Flightpath RB-47H conversion. Very rough but at least it gives me a starting place. Sorry again for hijacking this thread. Don
  18. Not trying to hijack this thread but do you have a spare RC-135U conversion you'd be will to part with? Been looking for the Maintrack conversion for years.Don W.
