math-x Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 Thanks guys. I am really glad that you like it. All the best.
Antoine Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Very very nice. Tamiya's M-48 was said to be a little bit high on his wheels, and it seems to show on your pics. It would be nice to have a comparison with th real thing. Well done anyway.
T-Tango Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 What a superb build, lovely job, beautiful weathering.
jimbuna Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Absolutely tremendous....and matching weathering.

As far as I know Tamiya made their scalling on empty tank, possibly without engine, which obviously causes the problems. I was thinkinng to correct it but at the end I decided to keep it as it is. There are a number of issues with Tamiya model- originally it supposed to be motorized so it has strange holes and empty areas which require corrections. However it is quite good M48 A3 kit, and it is also cheap. With some addons and improvements it can look sensible . Cheers. 1
