andy wood
Due in bickering, etc, the Aerodrome as put an end to the modelling forum. That is a real shame, as it was a good site. Since Dan San-Abbott passed away, it seemed to turn into a one man show.

I have no problem at all with logging to GWA or viewing threads. Have you reported it to the GWA admin or would you like me to do it for you? Paul RH
I´ve tried registering several times, but the letter rcognition thing keeps telling me I´ve typed it wrong....and I haven´t. That site has a nice 'vibe' - similar to here really. What, they block you from scoring "hits" when you post in the chat section??

Potato Pete
Looks nice but I can't register - or rather I have tried to register but received no confirmation, nor can I log in. Does anyone have a contact for the admin, I can't see one on the site? TIA Pete

Antoine
I've just tired to register. Everything went well, until the question: - What is your WW1 aviation interest: Well, my interest in ww1 aviation, is ww1 aviation, nothing specific. And here's the mail I get: - You did not answer the question regarding what is your favourite WW1 aviation interest. Untill this is answered we cannot process your registration. Please re register providing an answer. But, it's impossible to register two times for the same PC...

I registered about a week ago and if memory serves correctly I answered that particular question with something like many and varied which is true. I think the system just requires an answer to allow it to progress to the human stage ?? Regards, Steve
Antoine
I think you're right. I posted some question marks, maybe the soft makes a difference between them and any word.

Antoine....Question from GWA Admin 'What error do you get when you try to re register.' Let me know and I'll pass the info on.
gcn
The question is a new feature, its a spam deterrent. Entering "modeller" should get you in. It looks for proper words so avoid things like question marks HTH Edited August 15, 2011 by gcn
