DarenC1
Great stuff! I built one of them not so long back - went together well and came out pretty nicely!
Pascal
Nice job. Takes me back to the days where I could buy a kit with a couple of coins found under the carpets of my dad's car.
fatalbert
I need to track down a Matchbox Me109, Saab Tunnan and F4U Corsair too. Oh, and the Brewster Buffalo. Heritage aviation have the 109 and the Buffalo at the moment...... http://www.heritageaviationmodelsltd.com/1...age-15-18-c.asp Neil
johnd
That looks good. I thought the Matchbox Spitfire IX gave the option of a high or low back machine. Age is really taking its toll on my memory. Did I dream it or was there actually a kit around with that option? John.
NickR
Wow, that has given me a bit of a shiver of nostaligia!!! With Matchbox I can remember the colour combinations more than which aircraft they actually were! Red & White (Gnat or Hawk I think), Dark Blue & White (Vought Corsair??) and Brown & Yellow (Brewster Buffalo??) spring to mind. Ah, the memories, thanks General Jumbo Edited August 3, 2012 by NickR
