Hi All

I have put the photos from my Tamiya Lotus 49B build in the work in progress forum. So now here are the photos of the finished car!

Thanks - it was a great project and I really enjoyed doing it. Without Michael Oliver's wonderful book I couldn't have done it, although that did encourage OCD at times!

I love me some Formula 1.  A Cosworth V8 on a Lotus chassis, what could be better.  The days when you could SEE the engine.  Beautiful gold on the nose.  All around nice build.  Keep building and keep posting!

Nice work, well done.

Your attention to the small but important details sets it apart from an OOB build.

Michael Oliver's book is excellent, I agree.  And it's a great read, not just dry facts.

I agree to all of the above comments,it's a great model you have made.Chris.

Also I couldn't help but post this picture taken at Brands Hatch in 1968(a bit late now I know) Graham Hill just before the Race of Champions in April 68. Hope you like! spacer.png
