4.  Revell 1/144 Strike Eagle

5. Olympic

6. 1/48 Sopwith Dolphin ( Canadian GB)

7. M577 APC

8. 1/144 Tornado

If it’s in bold then it’s very nearly finished.

Priorities are the Tonka and the F100. But I’m kind of enjoying the P47 and the Fokker so they may get finished first.

F7-F6-ECF7-2-B7-A-4-EA5-A228-E700-A591-DThe Swallow is back on the bench and rigging started, then of course I noticed a gaff so obvious that I didn’t notice it ( go figure that one out) can you see it. Yes like it’s builder the rounders are eccentric &@#%…. So do I live with it or fix it. Decided to live with it but couldn’t, so the port rounded has been overpainted and will be re applied….

3-C0-D9747-363-B-47-B0-983-F-D3-F01895-DTail control wires and rigging added, all insignia sorted and a prop added; the Swallow is finally finished. Which m and I’m getting close to a Sopwith shelf :) (Pup, Swallow, Mouse, Salamander, TF1 and a Triplane, with a Dolphin started and a 1 1/2 strutter, a Snipe and several Camels in the stash ) , I’ll take some RFI pics tomorrow.

The F100 and the Tonka are still priority but somehow I reckon the P47 and the DVII might both get finished by the weekend, which of course would clear the way for a mega SEA paint session :)

Wow! Nice checkers on the cowling.

I built the Academy 1/72 kit a while back in a Blitzbuild with the same checkers on the tail surfaces. I hope your decals went on easier!

And identification stripes too. Decal heaven (or maybe the other place).

Regards,

Adrian

5-E9-E03-DD-9-DEB-43-B6-B0-C7-2-ED81-B0-Got this in Lidl yesterday evening It’s an A2  cutting board with (some) useful accessories for only €12.99. At that price I’m tempted to go back and get a few more.

  • Marklo changed the title to Cracking the WIP -introducing the shelving unit of doom!!

My wip is all over the place and I keep losing parts, my portable spray booth is propped up on two IKEA plastic boxes and  I’m also extremely short on display shelving. So I had a brain wave, why not solve all three dilemmas together ( all very first world problems I might add) I’ll build a unit sized to fit the spray booth with removable drawers for modelling WIP and free up two shelves in my older shelving unit.

DAD74895-C288-4-CDC-85-E0-AD5-B3-AA4-A17 And here it is, the shelving unit of doom, very quickly fabricated from some left over decking and a few lengths of timber with repurposed plastic seed trays as drawers, each of which can hold 1 or 2 projects… :) next up a thorough reorg of my bench and WIP!!!

Well the F20, F100 and the B58 are almost complete.

And I reckon the F5A, F15, and Tornado are pretty close too. Should things go well there are a few others quite close to finished too. Getting the WIP to single figures this week is actually a possibility.

My aim is to get as much of the WIP done before the 24th and the Prototypes GB for which I probably will build quite a projects.
