bobster
Hi All, Here is my first entry in the GB. I think it was £5.99 from Hobbycraft. I going to build it OOB, looking forward to building something with sharkmouth! I have a few other Airfix kits (Spit Mk1, Typhoon, Hurricane and both new tool Gladiators) so I'm hoping to build some of these during the GB. I might try and source a second hand bargain an enter that if possible. Obliquity box shot.... stevej60
Lovely choice Rob,watch the separate wheel hubs and the leg to wheel joint very very tight fit especially if pre painted.

bobster
Hi All, Starting to make progress on this nice little kit: Curtis Hawk cockpit by arrjaytee, on Flickr Just added some seat belts to finish off the cockpit. Building this along side an Airfix Zero, which I was too impatient to hold off until this GB started. These new airfix kits are really pleasant to build. bobster
Hi All, After quite a period of time, here is the latest progress.... Curtis Hawk painted by arrjaytee, on Flickr Curtis Hawk painted + decals applied by arrjaytee, on Flickr This really is a nice little kit. I think I would like to do an RAF version as well. I have not devoted enough time to modeling recently, so I'm now going to crack on with my various started projects + some more 'for a tenner'' builds hopefully.
