Airfix 1:72 Curtis Hawk "Flying Tiger"

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Here is my first entry in the GB. I think it was £5.99 from Hobbycraft. I going to build it OOB, looking forward to building something with sharkmouth!

I have a few other Airfix kits (Spit Mk1, Typhoon, Hurricane and both new tool Gladiators) so I'm hoping to build some of these during the GB. I might try and source a second hand bargain an enter that if possible.

Hi All,

Starting to make progress on this nice little kit:

Just added some seat belts to finish off the cockpit. Building this along side an Airfix Zero, which I was too impatient to hold off until this GB started. These new airfix kits are really pleasant to build.

Hi All,

After quite a period of time, here is the latest progress....

This really is a nice little kit. I think I would like to do an RAF version as well.

I have not devoted enough time to modeling recently, so I'm now going to crack on with my various started projects + some more 'for a tenner'' builds hopefully.
