This is the first build that I have posted on here. I'm finally happy to say its 'finished', Its taken me about 4 months, mostly due to work commitments though. I've learnt a lot doing this build, especially from the forums on here. Hopefully my next one will be a lot better. I've gone for the Afghanistan ISAF BAF loadout with 2 x GBU-12s. The Belgians are using the SNIPER pod in theatre but I only had one free and I'm saving that for something else, so I used what I think is a LITENING pod. I'm not happy with the undercarriage, it seems to have buckled a little under the weight of the model and now it sits lop-sided. Probably my fault somewhere along the line. Theres also a couple of parts from the kit that don't match the research photos that I have. All in though, I'm quite proud of myself for trying new techniques which, mostly, came off. I'm looking to improve on this as I have a Kinetic F-16AM waiting for me in my stash so any constructive comments are very welcome.

Count me in, although I'm off to France next friday for 3 weeks so I may need to smash it out sharpish when I get back D2 Edit to add, I have a 1/32 Aston Martin DB5 that has got this GB written all over it.

Thanks for the heads up guys, does anybody know of any UK stockists? I was thinking maybe I could do one that is returning to KAF after a busy day at the office, or is that cheating? C Edit to add: But obviously it would still have the CRV7 pods, hmmm

Hi, I just bought a Revell 1:144 Harrier GR.7 to do for a bit of light relief from the 1:48 F-16 I am completing at the moment and although it comes with the 2006 Khandahar det decals, which I think would be a good build, it doesn't come with any CAS weapons. Does anybody know where I could get some CRV7 pods and some Paveway 2s, or even some UK 540lb freefalls in 1:144? Cheers D2

Sorry, pedantic I know but the GBU-12 is a 500lb class weapon, its the GBU-24 that is the 2000lb class. D2

Thanks for that Remy, The decals that come with the Kinetic kit are for tail FA-73, which according to F-16.net is now Royal Jordanian AF and has been since 2008. So obviously that airframe wasn't there! Does anybody know where I can get decals for a BAF 2nd wing a/c? I tried Model Alliance but their War On Terror sheet only has dutch a/c. I also have a Revell kit with BAF markings but I'm not sure which tail number is supplied as its not with me at the moment. Thanks for all the help so far gents. D2

Yet again, I can't lay claim to these but I was there when they were taken. The Harrier shots aren't as good quality as the A-10's that I have put up, this is due to the different airspeeds of each aircraft. I also have some videos on YouTube showing this low passes. D2
