    Very nice, this is a great looking scene. I just dont know if it is appropriate to have the length of track in front of the tank, how would they pull the tank into it?

    Meanwhile reinforcements for Horus arrived. Did some work on the heretic Cerastus Knights.

    Not directly an answer to your question. But those tracks are 3 parts per link and once you got a hang for it, it builds nicely and the tracks a detailed.

    Good evening Sirs, it''s Christmas time. That being said I started with my holiday build. Like last year it was browsing my stash and finishing stuff I had lying around. Last year it was a started dio and some figures were added, the tank was already there too. This year I start with the remains of the dio Base and add a Dragon M4A1, it is an older kit. Nothing spectacular, but my first Sherman. Few parts. So it is almost done already. To give it character I am going to add Panzerfaust guy from one of those fantastic Dragon Gen 2 kits. In ordered a lot of those during the summer. So better make some use of them.

    Thanks guys. Actually I didnt do the camo with thePutty, I quit and bought a set of MXpression masking sheet.

    Hey there, finally got back to this. Once I figured I couldnt accurately get the camouflage right with Panzer Putty I ordered those stencils. Second note, once all details are glued in place you have a hard time to lay the stencils flat. So there are some soft transitions that I already gave an initial glazing pass of colours. A few more and these should be almost gone and once wheathered I guess you won´t notice anymore. None the less, the camo looks nice considering the shapes and colours.

    Cheers Francis. We discussed that in the build report and found that Mk2. were mostly green without that black camo. So I just went that way although I had liked the camouflage. But hey, now I can do the Mk5 as a P in sand brown. Not bad either.

    Hey there, it was Cyber Week again and the well known 25 % discount was available again at MIG Ammo Webstore. This gave me the opprtunity to get some old favourites of mine and even one new tank. Thought the Merkva was a smaller tank, but no, it is at least Chieftain size. After an inermezzo into the SciFi world these should be some enjoyable builds for the next year.

    Hey tthere, got a few highlights onto the metal areas and onto the heads for easier definition from afar. Also tried myself on the Ion Shield Generators. Also did some subtle heat effect with orange wash, glaze of purple then of blues. But this is rather dark and doesnt really show on these pictures though. I am not really sure if I should spend more time on these besides the base decoration and the banners of course. Here ist the Banners of knights facing each other in anger.

    Hey there Dalek. I started with AK Dark Green mixed with Army Painter Greenskin, added in some Vallejo Model Air Camo. Light green and to get it even lighter I added Army Painter Daemonic Yellow and Vallejo Off White. No fixed ratios, just went on until happy with the result.

    Hey there, most of the Basics on the Vyronii Knights done. Have to do washes and edge highlights and maybe some more touchups after washes. Those acrylic washes arent as forgiving as enamel products.

    As mentioned before. Without the top section of the track it is wonderfully easy. For doing tracks one piece I tried two approaches. Either have them fully closed paint off the tank. Leave the outer road wheels off. And add the track with inserted sprocket, idler after painting. The second approach is to leave one link split over the sprocket. Just put them on after painting. Pressing the tracks over the teeth helps for good gluing. I always found stretching and pulling them apart when connecting in other areas.

    Camo decals. Awesome. I already wondered how one would be able to paint camo line this. Fantastic looking figure and great build.

    Nice progress Francis. Did the Chiftain have sucha track sag? I would have thought there would be none. The eshaust pipes have some seems left because of the two part section. I remember it wasnt that easyto get rid of, but some MrSurfacer should help alot. Will try that next time. Ordered the Mk 5 from the recent Mig Jimenez Black week sail at 25% discount again.
